The Society has four kinds of publications; the most important is the Bulletin which enjoys an international reputation. The Archeological and Historical Studies (Derasat) is another periodical which includes papers in both Arabic and other foreign languages. The Derasat is a facility for Egyptian researchers to publish their studies. However, it includes some papers by Arab contributors. Eleven volumes of Derasat are now available in the society`s premises, the twelfth is currently in the press.
The monographs of the Society cover a series of special reports; some of them are to be considered as rare publications such as those written by price Omar Tousson.
In 1997 the executive board launched the first of the society`s of newsletters. It appears twice a year and includes some specific main topics: A message to the members, archaeological news, miscellaneous news and the cultural programme.
The executive council had planned to issue a series of simplified publications on the individual archaeological sites in the Alexandria region under the title of: "Cahiers d'Alexandrie". This is still under preparation by the heritage committee headed by: Prof. Dr. Farouk Abaza. Needless to say that the entire series will be written by notable specialists. The delay of publication is due to the Society’s lack of the necessary funds.
All publication of the Society are available for sale in the premises of the Society everyday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. except Fridays, Saturdays and national holidays at a reduction of 25% for members and 50% for students.
