The Society has four kinds of publications; the most important is the Bulletin de la Société Archéologique d’Alexandrie (BSAA) which enjoys an international reputation. The Archeological and Historical Studies (Derasat) is another periodical which includes papers in both Arabic and other languages. It is a facility for Egyptian researchers to publish their studies. However, it includes some papers by Arab contributors. 14 volumes of Derasat are now available in the society`s premises, the 15th is currently in preparation.
The monographs of the Society cover a series of special reports; some of them are to be considered as rare publications such as those written by price Omar Toussoun.
In 1997 the executive board launched the first of the society`s newsletters. It appears twice a year and includes some specific main topics: A message to the members, archaeological news, miscellaneous news, book reviews and the cultural program.
During the celebration of the 120th anniversary in 2013, a new series of simplified publications entitled: "Cahiers d'Alexandrie" was issued.
